Personal About me

Welcome to get to know Marianne

My life has not always been as joyful and manageable as it is today. On the surface everything has always seemed wonderful. I finished my studies, found an interesting work as a scientist. I had several very good friends and hobbies I enjoyed. With a family member having lethal cancer and a broken relationship, I dived into a depression. I experienced several really dark years. I even did not know whether I wanted to live or not. With the help of a dear friend, I decided to finally start a psychotherapy process, with a Gestalt therapist. This changed my life. My awareness of myself, my life, childhood relationships and their influence on me and so on. My worldview widened and became clear. I had access to my emotions, and found what I really want to accomplish in my life.

I became an educated Gestalt psychotherapist and after losing my sense of meaning in my academic work, I run into a burnout period before daring to leave and become an entrepreneur. After some years I found coaching and I started to feel that everything in my life fit in perfectly.

I had integrated all parts and was curious to find out more about life. How to influence the mindsets of others to encourage everyone to change and grow. Ultimately to save our beautiful Planet Earth.

With my leading star clear, I curiously explored deeper into how we as Human Beings can create good lives for ourselves and those around us. I studied organisations and how to manage them, people in teams and groups, what is motivating, how do we resist, how do we communicate well and respect each other. How can we grow and transform and how will that influence our life experiences? I had a mind-blowing insight in a seminar, what if we as observers according to  Quantum theory really do create our lives? So this I added into my life philosophy in addition to Biology and Gestalt and Vertical Growth.

The next big question was what is all this? Where do I come from? Where do I go? Who am I? Answers to this I found in some spiritual traditions and I joined a training in Inca cosmology.

I have landed.

Personal

I live in Porvoo's peaceful archipelago with my husband, surrounded by sea and forest. This landscape reminds me daily why my work matters—nature's wisdom, resilience, presaence and fragility fuel my commitment to developing leaders who can protect what we love.

I enjoy gardening, walking, Ashtanga yoga, and water jogging. As a devoted opera fan, the Savonlinna Opera Festival is a cherished annual tradition.
